Achieving the Dream support

Saide, on behalf of the  Kresge Foundation, invites interested parties  to apply for participation in the  Achieving the Dream conference  scheduled for Feb 21- 24, 2017 in San Francisco, USA .

There are a limited number of funded places to attend the conference with reserved places for participating institutions in the Siyaphumelela programme.

Saide, as the coordinating body, invites interested parties to apply for the three remaining funded places. You are required to send a letter of motivation describing how you intend to put the learnings of this visit to your institution’s needs.

To apply please send your letter of motivation to this email address with the customised subject heading. Please include your name, designation, institution and department in addition to your motivation for attending. We’d like to conclude evaluations as soon as possible and hence the deadline for this will be next Friday 21st October 2016.

The Kresge foundation intends to also offer support to South African self-funded delegates who would like to join the South African delegation in San Francisco. This will include the support and facilitation of site visits to relevant institutions as identified by Kresge, possible workshop/s and a dinner.  Should you be funding your own trip and registration to the conference but wish to be part of the South African delegation please send an email for inclusion on the limited list.
